Who we are?
Camille & Marco
Camille is a physiotherapist, wellness massage practitioner, and trainer. She founded the "Expanse Massage" school, where she passionately shares her expertise. She is also a mother, sailor, singer, and author—her books and music albums can be found on her websites camillefarge.com and presepia.com. Marco is a graphic designer and photographer, a creator of furniture for the houses, and an avid traveler. Before settling in Flores, he traveled the world by bicycle and motorcycle, exploring Asia and many other destinations. Our paths took us far from France: Camille traveled around the Atlantic, Marco across Asia, and it was in Africa that our journeys intertwined. Today, our family of four children grows between here and elsewhere: our three eldest have left to study, and our home welcomes travelers in search of authenticity and nature, in the spirit of Kazatera. At the same time, we cultivate the land with love: we raise sheep and take care of our fruit trees, continuing our commitment to a simple life rooted in nature’s rhythm.

Janete – The Brazilian Soul of Kazatera
Originally from São Paulo, Janete is more than a friend—she is a warm and radiant
presence at Kazatera. Her bright smile and constant enthusiasm make her a true ray
of sunshine for our guests. She attentively takes care of the house and those who
stay here.
Although she is still learning English, she manages very well and never misses an
opportunity to communicate with travelers. Her enthusiasm and generosity create rich
exchanges, where language is never a barrier but rather a beautiful adventure.
