Who we are?
Camille & Marco
Camille is a physiotherapist, practitioner, and trainer in wellness massage. She founded the “Expanse Massage” school, where she passionately shares her expertise. She is also a mother, sailor, singer, and author: her books, along with her music albums, are available on her websites camillefarge.com and presepia.com.
Marco is a graphic designer and photographer, a creator of furniture for homes, and an avid traveler. Before settling in Flores, he traveled the world by bicycle and motorcycle, exploring Asia and many other places.
Camille sailed around the Atlantic by boat, and Marco traveled across Asia, but it was in Africa that their paths crossed. Today, their tribe of four children grows up between here and elsewhere. Their three eldest have left to study, and their home is open to travelers in search of authenticity and nature, in the spirit of Kazatera. At the same time, they lovingly cultivate the land, raise sheep, and care for their fruit trees, continuing their commitment to a simple life rooted in the rhythm of nature.
But their thirst for adventure hasn’t faded, and who knows — maybe one day they’ll set off again toward new horizons?

The Brazilian Soul of Kazatera
Originally from São Paulo, Janete is more than a friend—she is a warm and radiant presence at Kazatera. Her bright smile and constant enthusiasm make her a true ray of sunshine for our guests. She attentively takes care of the house and those who stay here.
Although she is still learning English, she manages very well and never misses an opportunity to communicate with travelers. Her enthusiasm and generosity create rich exchanges, where language is never a barrier but rather a beautiful adventure.
